Nestled in the picturesque setting of Sant Sepulcre de Palera, El Claustre De Palera stands out as a gem in Girona's culinary landscape. This charming restaurant offers an idyllic dining experience, characterized by its stunning views and enchanting ambiance, adjacent to a historic 12th-century church. The location alone invites you to savor not just a meal, but a moment in time.
Guests rave about the exceptional quality of the food. Many describe their dishes as “pure magic.” The freshness of the ingredients shines through, with both meat and fish options cooked to perfection. The weekend menu, priced at an enticing €35, includes a delightful trio of appetizers, a main dish, and a dessert, making it a fantastic value for gourmet dining. Reviews highlight generous portions that leave diners satisfied and eager to return.
However, the journey to culinary bliss isn't without its bumps. Some guests, like Al Dr, have noted service inconsistencies, which can detract from the otherwise stellar experience. While the chef's willingness to accommodate special requests is commendable, it's clear that the staff may benefit from a more cohesive approach on busier days.
Thankfully, this minor setback does not overshadow the overall dining experience. Many patrons, including Judith Sol-Dyess and Francisco Domínguez, commend the restaurant for its friendly service and local homemade offerings. The combination of delectable dishes, a friendly atmosphere, and the mesmerizing views create a setting that feels almost like a hidden sanctuary.
In conclusion, if you find yourself in the Beuda region, El Claustre De Palera is a must-visit. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a well-deserved meal, the charm and culinary creativity here are bound to leave a lasting impression. Don’t forget your camera; the views are as delectable as the food!

The view and the food at El Caustre de Paleta are truly 5 stars — beautifully presented and delicious. Sadly, the service was disappointing. I asked for a salad with my dish, but the waitress refused, claiming the kitchen was too busy (though there were only 16 guests). The chef kindly offered to make it, but she still said no. Loved the place for the view and food, but the service needs improvement.

Great food and service! We went more than 20 and the offer of local homemade food was great, good wines and friendly service. Overall great price value deal. BTW views and place are nice too. There is a romanic style little church by its side that is worth visit if you are there.
